I was practicing with my new cord release trigger and attempted to photograph star trails. The north celestial pole is located very close to the pole star (Polaris or North Star). From the Northern Hemisphere, all circumpolar stars appear to move around Polaris. The stars near the celestial pole leave shorter trails with my 35-minute long exposure. Image created with a DSLR camera with a wide-angle lens.
